This is a criminal record search at the state level. Statewide searches are available in many states but not all. All statewide searches conducted by USACheckNow are conducted in the widely recognized state repositories and are not private database searches. Information returned varies from state to state. Jurisdictions searched in each state can be found below or click here for the state coverage of criminal records PDF.  Turnaround time varies from state to state.

Statewide searches are NOT available for Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, and Wyoming. A county level search is required for these states.

ARIZONA Corrections: This database contains conviction information on individuals that are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Department of Corrections. The data is comprised of current and historical felony information dating back at least 7 years. The data is updated monthly. Courts This database contains current and historical conviction and arrest information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Court system. 137 of the 172 Justice, Municipal and Superior courts representing the 15 Arizona counties are reported in this database. As defined by the Arizona Supreme Court, Justice and Municipal courts handle minor traffic violations and minor crimes. The Superior courts handle serious criminal cases. List of courts reporting to this database, as some counties are not fully represented by all courts. This information dates back at least seven years. COLORADO Corrections: This database contains offenders incarcerated since April 2008 by the Colorado Department of Corrections. CONNECTICUT Corrections: This database began its compilation of information when the Department of Corrections changed its reporting format in December of 2003. All information prior to December of 2003 is contained in the Archived Corrections database. This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor information on individuals that are or have been incarcerated under the jurisdiction of the Connecticut Department of Corrections. The jurisdiction provides monthly updates of the most current data available. NOTE: per the jurisdiction: It is extremely important to note that a person’s current incarceration does not necessarily indicate they have been convicted of a crime, as Connecticut’s correctional system also holds those who are awaiting trial. Archived Corrections: This database contains historical felony and misdemeanor information on individuals that have been incarcerated in a Connecticut Correctional institution, paroled or under Community supervision of the Connecticut Department of Corrections prior to December of 2003. Traffic Court: This database contains current and historical felony, misdemeanor, infraction and violation records on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Connecticut Traffic Court system. DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA Corrections: Per the jurisdictions this database contains information on “The current sentenced population, those who have been sent out to parole status, and those who have been released due to expiration of sentence since January 1, 1999. * * *Important to note that many of our inmates are not released by us, sentenced felons are transferred to FBOP custody.” Statement provided by the DC Department of Corrections. FLORIDA Corrections This database contains information on individuals who are or have been under the supervision of the Florida Department of Corrections. The data is comprised of current and historical felony and misdemeanor information dating back at least seven years. This jurisdiction provides bi monthly updates of the most current data available.
Alachua County: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Alachua County, Florida. Alachua County covers 961 square miles and has a population of almost a quarter million people. The largest metropolitan area is Gainesville, home to the University of Florida Gators. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Bay County: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor conviction information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Bay County, Florida. The county is home to Panama City and Tyndall Air Force Base and has a population close to 150,000. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Brevard County: This database contains current and historical arrest and conviction records of felonies and misdemeanors of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Brevard County, Florida. Home to the Kennedy Space Center, the population is approximately 475,000 people residing in fifteen municipalities including Melbourne, Cocoa and Titusville. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Broward County: This database contains current and historical felony, misdemeanor and probation information pertaining to cases filed with the Office of the Clerk of Courts for Broward County. Fort Lauderdale is the major city among the 29 cities and towns that house Broward County’s 1.8 million people. The records date back to 2000 with some isolated records before that. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided.
Charlotte County: This database contains current and historical arrest information provided by the Sheriff’s office of Charlotte County, Florida. Charlotte County is located on the southwest coast of Florida and has a population of 160,000. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. The records date back at least seven years.
Duval County: This database contains current and historical arrest and conviction records of felonies and misdemeanors of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Duval County, Florida. Home to Jacksonville, the largest city in the US at 841 square miles; Duval County has a population approaching 840,000. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Hernando County Arrest Records: This database contains arrest records consisting of felonies and misdemeanors without disposition for Hernando County, Florida. Updates are no longer available. These records date back to January of 2005.
Highlands County: This database contains felony and misdemeanor court records of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Highlands County, Florida. Home to Avon Park, Sebring and Lake Placid, the population is approximately 95,000 people who reside in 1028 square miles. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Hillsborough County: This database contains criminal case records of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the circuit and county court system of Hillsborough County, Florida. Tampa is the major metropolitan center and houses the majority of Hillsborough County’s 1.1 million people. The jurisdiction includes the following in its disclosure statement: “…provides an index of defendant names for Circuit Criminal cases and County Criminal cases (both active and disposed) which currently are stored in the Criminal Courts database. …contains all Circuit Criminal and County Criminal cases filed after September 1987 or that has had any court action since September 1987…”Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided by the jurisdiction.
Indian River County: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Indian River County, Florida. Indian River County covers 549 square miles and has a population of almost 125,000. Vero Beach and Sebastian are the principal cities in this Atlantic Ocean resort area of Florida. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Lee County: These are booking records only from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office dating back to January 1, 2002.
Miami-Dade County: This database contains felony and misdemeanor conviction records from the courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida. These records cover from January 18, 2000 to March 9, 2005. This database is not being updated until further notice.
Monroe County: This data base contains current and historical circuit court data. Criminal records and traffic records are included. The data dates back at least seven years. This data is updated quarterly.
Monroe County Arrests: These are booking records only from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. This data is no longer updated.
Orange County: This database contains current and historical arrest and conviction records of felonies and misdemeanors of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Orange County, Florida. Encompassing 1,000 square miles, there are 13 municipalities within Orange County. Orlando is the county seat. Home to Disney World, the population is rapidly approaching 1,000,000. Monthly updates of the most current data Available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Okaloosa County: This data is supplied by the Okaloosa County and Circuit Courts and consists of felony and misdemeanor records dating back to 1989. This data contains name, DOB, offense description, file date, disposition, disposition date, severity, and case number. This data is updated monthly.
Osceola County: This database contains current and historical information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Osceola County, Florida. These records date back at least seven years. Traffic records date back to 12/01/2007. This data is updated monthly.
Palm Beach County: This database contains current and historical arrest records of individuals who are or have been arrested in Palm Beach County since 4-1-99. West Palm Beach is the major city among the 17 cities and towns that house Palm Beach County’s 1.225 million people. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided.
Pasco County: This database contains current and historical conviction records of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Pasco County, Florida. The records date back to December 20, 2002. This data is updated monthly.
Pinellas County: This database contains arrest and conviction information of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Pinellas County, Florida. The twin cities of St. Petersburg and Clearwater house the majority of Pinellas County’s 950,000 people. The information dates back from 1-2003 at least seven years.
Seminole County: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor conviction information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Seminole County, Florida. These records date back at least seven years. This data is updated monthly.
Suwannee County: This database contains current and historical arrest and conviction records of felonies, misdemeanors and infractions of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Suwannee County, Florida. GEORGIA Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor information on individuals that are or have been under the jurisdiction of The Georgia Department of Corrections or The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles. The data dates back at least seven years. While this database currently contains some misdemeanor information (on convicted felons only), the State of Georgia is in the process of purging misdemeanor data from their files. According to the State these records contain information pertaining to a maximum of ten offenses. The data from Fulton and DeKalb counties was not provided for approximately ten years beginning in December of 1974. This jurisdiction provides monthly updates of the most current data available.
Decatur Arrest Records: This database contains arrest data from The City of Decatur Georgia Police Department. This database contains arrest data back to 1998. Record information includes felony and misdemeanor offenses. Updates TBD.
Georgia Archived Bureau of Investigation: This archived database contains historical felony conviction information. This statewide database contains data on individuals convicted of felonies in Georgia for the last 3 decades up to September 2004. There are no updates to this database. HAWAII–SEX AND VIOLENT OFFENDERS

IDAHO Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony, parole and probation information on individuals who are or have been under the supervision of the Idaho Department of Corrections. Additionally, there is some limited misdemeanor information. This jurisdiction provides semiannual updates of the most current data available. The data goes back at least seven years. ILLINOIS Archived Corrections: This is a historical archived database containing information on individuals who were under the supervision of the Illinois Department of Corrections prior to 1994. The data is comprised of felony as well as limited misdemeanor information. For records post 1994 see database labeled Illinois Corrections. Corrections: This database contains current and historical information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Corrections. The data is comprised of felony as well as limited misdemeanor information dating back at least seven years. While offense history is provided, only the latest incarceration information is available. Parole information will only be returned on individuals currently on parole. The jurisdiction provides quarterly updates of the most current data available.
Cook County: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor conviction information for individuals that are or have been under the supervision of the Cook County Court system of the state of Illinois. Per the jurisdiction: “Neither the Clerk nor the Court warrants the accuracy, completeness, or the currency of this data. This data is not and may not be represented as an official record of the Court or of the Clerk. The official court record may be found in the hard copy files held and maintained by the Clerk.” Cook County is home to over five million residents and 129 municipalities, including the 228 square miles of the city of Chicago with its population of 2,890,000. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Peoria County: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor conviction information for individuals that are or have been under the supervision of the Peoria County Court system of the state of Illinois. Per the jurisdiction: “Neither the Clerk nor the Court warrants the accuracy, completeness, or the currency of this data. This data is not and may not be represented as an official record of the Court or of the Clerk.”
Sangamon County: This database contains felony and misdemeanor offense information from the supplemental court of Sangamon County. This data dates from January 1990 to June 2005. Plus SEX AND VIOLENT OFFENDER RECORDS

IOWA Archived Corrections: This database contains historical felony and misdemeanor conviction information on individuals who were under the jurisdictions of the Iowa Department of Corrections up through September 9, 2004. This data has sentence dates dating back at least seven years from September 2004 with some records dating back into the 1970’s. This is an archived database and has no updates. This jurisdiction provides monthly updates with the most current data available. The data dates back at least seven years. KANSAS Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor conviction information for individuals that are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Kansas Department of Corrections. Additionally, this database contains Community Corrections information on any offenders that have had Community Corrections supervision since 7-1-02. KENTUCKY Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony information on individuals that are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Kentucky Department of Corrections. Probationer and parolee information is limited to current status only. The data dates back at least seven years. This jurisdiction provides monthly updates of the most current data available.
Lexington Fayette: This database contains current and historical arrest information on individuals that have been booked into the Lexington Fayette Division of Community Corrections in the State of Kentucky. Quarterly updates of the most current data available are provided. The data dates back at least seven years. Per this jurisdiction,
“Lexington Fayette Urban County Division of Community Corrections does not guarantee the accuracy of the data on this site. The arrest information reflects the charged offenses against an individual at the time of booking into our custody”. Plus SEX AND VIOLENT OFFENDER RECORDS

MAINE Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Maine Department of Corrections. MARYLAND Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony conviction and state level misdemeanor information on individuals who are or have been incarcerated under the jurisdiction of the Maryland Department of Corrections. Offense description is always identified as “Felony or State Level Misdemeanor”. This jurisdiction provides monthly updates of the most current data available.

MASSACHUSETTS Arrest Records has access to an additional 1.6 million records from Massachusetts; Arrest data covering 31 Police Departments (PD) in Massachusetts, including Boston PD has been added. Historic coverage varies from 2 – 10 years based on the PD.

MICHIGAN Corrections: This database contains statewide current and historical felony conviction and parole information on individuals that are or have been incarcerated under the supervision of the Michigan Department of Corrections. Offenders who were sentenced to serve probation only are not included in this database. Quarterly updates of the most current data available are provided. The data dates back at least seven years. OTIS DOC: This database contains current and historical criminal records of individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections for the state of Michigan. The Offender Tracking Information System data is compiled from the Department of Corrections OMNI and CMIS databases. Monthly updates of the most current data available are provided. These records go back at least seven years.
Wayne County: This database contains current and historical felony conviction information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the county court system of Wayne County, Michigan. These are felony cases only; however, some cases have misdemeanor offenses attached. Wayne County is made up of 33 cities, including the city of Detroit. Its population of approximately 2.1 million makes it the most populous county in the State of Michigan and the eighth most populous county in the Nation. MINNESOTA Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony conviction information on individuals who are or have been incarcerated under the jurisdiction of the Minnesota Department of Corrections since this database was implemented in 1979. Starting in October of 1998 probation information has not been entered into this database. The data dates back at least seven years. This jurisdiction provides monthly updates of the most current data available. NEBRASKA Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony, misdemeanor and parole information on individuals that are or have been under the supervision of the Nebraska Department of Corrections. NEVADA Archived Corrections: This database contains historical felony and misdemeanor conviction information on individuals who are or have been under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections and Division of Parole and Probation for the state of Nevada from 1976 through November of 2001. Offense history before 1999 is limited to those offenders who received parole or probation.

NEW HAMPSHIRE Corrections: This database contains current information for individuals that are under the jurisdiction of the New Hampshire Department of Corrections. Historical information will be provided at a future date. Per the NH DOC: “This roster contains the names of New Hampshire state prison sentenced inmates only. It shows the inmate’s current controlling sentence and does not show past or future consecutive sentences”. The data is comprised of offenders that have been incarcerated by the NH DOC on the first of each month since 11-1-2004. This jurisdiction provides monthly updates of the most current data available. NEW JERSEY Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony conviction and parole information on inmates under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey Department of Corrections commencing January of 2001. This jurisdiction provides semiannual updates of the most current data available. Archived Corrections: This database contains archived felony conviction information on individuals who were under the supervision of the New Jersey Department of Corrections prior to April 2001. The data dates back at least seven years from April 2001. NEW MEXICO Corrections: This database contains current and historical felony and misdemeanor information on individuals that are or have been under the jurisdiction of the New Mexico Department of Corrections commencing June of 2004.
